How the site is funded today
DanceManual carries no affiliate links, no sponsored content and no advertising, and it accepts no free products. No studio, school, brand or retailer pays for coverage or placement.
Brands and products
When a page names a brand, a store or a product, it is for an editorial reason: it is the clearest example, the source of a specification, or what readers will meet in a shop. Gear pages give advice, not shopping lists.
If that changes
If the site ever earns money from links or ads, this page will say so first, before the first such link goes live. Affiliate links would be marked in the page code as sponsored, and a plain disclosure line would sit above the first one on any page that has them, as the FTC's Endorsement Guides require. Display ads, if ever added, would be listed here too.
